This policy explains what DJ Life Simulator (the game and djlifesimulator.com) collects about you, why, who it is shared with and how you can control it. The game is developed by JVS Treinamento em Informática Ltda (One Day Code Games), Brazil, which is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- Your Steam account: SteamID, Steam name and avatar, received from Steam when you start the game or sign in on the website. We never see your Steam password or payment details.
- Your game progress: level, XP, money, fame, lessons completed, unlocked items, and a report of each set you play (scores, mistakes and tricks, tracks played with genre and BPM, duration and date).
- Your DJ controller model, so we can improve compatibility.
- Images you upload: ranking photo, DJ logo and shirt images, and the name, links and bio you add to your public DJ profile.
- When you redeem a school code: your full name, email and, optionally, Instagram, plus the school that sent the code.
- When you buy a course on Hotmart or receive a key by email: your email and purchase status, so we can give you access in the game.
- Partner schools and team members who use the panel: name, email, and a record of the changes they make.
What stays on your computer
Music you import (MP3, WAV or your Rekordbox library), your settings and your controller mappings stay on your computer. We don't upload your music files.
Why we use it
- To run the game: save your progress, show the online ranking and deliver what you bought.
- To let your school follow your progress, if you joined through a school. The school sees your name, Steam name, progress, scores and mistakes, never your password or payment details.
- To fix bugs and improve lessons, controller support and balance.
- To prevent cheating, fraud and abuse of keys and codes.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Valve (Steam), to sign you in and deliver the game and DLC.
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud, where game data is stored and processed.
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and its panel.
- Hotmart and Stripe, which process course and key purchases.
- Your school, only if you joined through a school code or school page.
- Other players see only what you put on your public ranking profile.
The website
The website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. When you sign in with Steam or to the panel, we set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Videos load from YouTube only when you press play. Fonts load from Google Fonts.
How long we keep it
We keep your game data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the game, comply with the law and resolve disputes. Panel and security logs are kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to withdraw consent. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to accept the terms on their behalf.

Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes are announced in the game or on our social media.
